O&P HUB Version 8 – VPN Setup Instructions

 

With Version 8 we changed VPN server which requires SoftEther VPN client.

Setup Instructions:

1. After downloading, Open/Run the installer
2. Select Component: ‘SoftEther VPN Client’ ; Platform: Windows
3. Complete the installation/setup. After it finishes, click [Finish] to open the ‘VPN Client Manager’
4. Double Click on [Add VPN Connection]
5. Click [Yes] to ‘Do you want to create Virtual Network Adapter’
6. For ”Virtual Adapter Name:’ leave the name as ‘VPN’ then click [OK]
7. Next, Double Click on [Add VPN Connection]
8. In the ‘New VPN Connection Setting Properties’ window enter as follows:
   1. Setting Name: HUB VPN Connection
   2. Host Name: 99.65.0.57
   3. Port Number: click on the dropdown arrow and select ‘443 (HTTPS Port)’
   4. Virtual Hub Name: HUB VPN
   5. Proxy Type: Direct TCP/IP
   6. Auth Type: Standard Password Authentication
   7. User Name: {Enter your current VPN username}
   8. Password: {Enter your current VPN username}
   9. Click [OK]
9. Double Click [HUB VPN Connection]
10. Re-start your computer
