opPractice is an orthotic and prosthetic specific practice management software. We therefore only allow O&P facilities to use our software.
opPractice is a HIPAA cloud based server system, hence you do not need a server and server room to use opPractice. Your HIPAA cloud server is accessed from any computer running our both our VPN and application software.
Each computer must meet the following system requirements:
* PC with Windows: Win 10 or Win 11
* NOT compatible with Mac (may work if using Parallels software with Windows 10/11 installed)
Note – Non-compatible Windows operating systems – Win XP, Win Vista, Win 7, Win 8.
* Minimum 1.5 GHz processor
* 4GB available hard drive space
* Minimum 4GB RAM
* Broadband Internet with minimum 30MB download speed and 10MB upload speed
*FREE of 3rd party anti-virus software – Non-compatible Anti-Virus Apps – Kapersky, Avast, Avira, Norton, McAfee, AVG, Webroot (Windows in-built ‘Defender’ recommended)
OPTIONAL:
* Microsoft Word – if using letter wringing features
* TWAIN scanner – only needed on computers that will scan documents
(We highly recommend you do not attempt to install the opPractice on a computer running any non-compatible anti-virus – Especially McAfee!
