Designed Specifically for O&P
Most medical software is built for a physician’s practice while DME software is built for predominantly for DME facilities. O&P has very specific requirements, so in addition to patient registration, scheduling, reporting, purchasing and accounting, we include functions such as product selection, WIP management, fabrication workflow and product and service tracking that are unique to O&P. With THE opPractice, all functions of the O&P practice are done through the software: clinical, administrative and business management.
True Workflow System
opPractice is one seamless application that contains ALL the features you need to run all aspects of your practice, professionally and efficiently. Services follow a logical order through opPractice and the status of all services is presented in an easy to read WIP Monitor format.
Practitioner Centric
opPractice was built primarily by our founder, Gez Bowman CO BOCP, a UK and USA certified practitioner who had a background in computer programming. It was initially built to provide a streamlined, electronic way for a practitioner to perform their necessary administrative functions. Over-time other features and functions were added the hub making it a fully fledged O&P Practice Management Software. Now it is designed to be used by every employee in the practice. There are different “Home Screens” for the different user types and access levels are set for each user.
Cloud Based Computing
opPractice is a windows based front-end app but uses cloud server/file hosting and therefore can be accessed from anywhere you can get an internet connection. It makes it simple to set up and can be as easily used in multiple-office settings as it can for the single office practice. It can be set up to accommodate central-office billing and collections or administration by separate branches.
HIPAA & Compliance
opPractice partners with one of the top Cloud Hosts in the world to store your data on dedicated servers in a HIPAA certified data center. Access to the server required triple authentication to ensure a secure, safe connection to your data. opPractice is built to help you ensure full HIPAA compliance and help you achieve facility accreditation with ease.
Customization Options
opPractice development team is available to custom build additional features into the hub to meet any specific needs you have. For example, this could be a specific report you want built or an automation process to replace some repetitive functions you often perform. Simply send us your request details in a “Custom Request” from within the hub and our team will review it and provide you with a cost estimate to have your custom feature built directly into opPractice.
Paperless Forms Option
opPractice links with opClinical.com to provide a paperless forms option. A separate account with opclinical.com is required for this option.
Additional Stand-Alone Scheduling App
opPractice is a full functional practice management system. However it comes with a separate limited function app – opSchedule so that you can multi-task and run two apps on one computer to perform dual functions at the same time.

Electronic charts.
All notes are done electronically, either by direct entry or by attaching documents, pictures or video. The system supports digital signatures, and insurance cards and patient-signed permissions and authorizations can be scanned in. Users can access the Hub remotely from laptop computers.
Purchasing.
opPractice allows for users to use a shopping cart system to create their purchase orders and the system generates an email or faxed purchase order for sending to the vendor direct from within opPractice.
Easy Billing.
Create 5010 EDI files for uploading to your preferred EDI clearinghouse. Download EDI reports directly into opPractice.
